Enos Thompson Throop Martin, one of the original trustees of Fort Hill Cemetery, was the son of Thaddeus Martin. His uncle was Enos Thompson Throop, Governor of New York. He became an attorney and settled on the Throop-Martin estate, "Willowbrook" on Lake Owasco, now Martin's Point.
